Small business IT & server support on Cape Cod

When the shared drive stops mounting on a Monday morning, you do not need a ticket number. You need someone local who already knows how your setup is put together.

  • Based in Bourne, MA
  • Usually a same-day reply
  • Cost agreed before work

What this covers

  • File server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Backup strategy that has actually been tested by restoring from it
  • User accounts, permissions, and safe offboarding
  • Business email problems, migrations, and deliverability
  • Workstation deployment and standardisation
  • Practical security: patching, endpoint protection, and access review

How we approach it

Small businesses on the Cape tend to run on systems that grew rather than got designed — a server someone set up years ago, a backup that may or may not still be running, and a handful of workstations that were bought whenever the last one died. That is normal, and it works fine right up until it does not.

The useful thing is not a rebuild. It is knowing where the real risk sits: whether the backup would actually restore, which single machine everything quietly depends on, and which account still has access that it should not. We work through that with you and fix the parts that matter first.

Ongoing upkeep is available for businesses that would rather not think about it, and one-off help is fine too. There is no minimum contract to get a problem looked at.

Good to know

Questions about business it.

Anything not covered here is a fair question to ask on the phone.

Do we need a contract to get help?

No. Plenty of businesses call us once a year when something breaks, and that is a perfectly reasonable way to work. Regular upkeep is available if you would rather stay ahead of problems.

Can you take over from our previous IT person?

Yes. Handovers are common. We document what we find as we go so you are never in a position where only one person understands your setup.

Do you support remote and hybrid staff?

Yes — remote access, VPNs, cloud file sync, and the workstation setup that goes with them.
